Our Marylebone Tuesdays league plays at Marylebone, London NW1, on a 3G pitch with showers, and a Thursday league there has a waiting list. Every team pays £65 a game, week by week, and every goal, assist and Player of the Match goes on your player card.

Every player gets a player card
A rating out of 99, plus DEF, ATT, PAS and SHO, worked out from match stats only: goals, assists, Player of the Match, results and goals conceded. Nobody can edit a rating, not even us. Cards unlock after 5 games and are fair between positions, so a solid defender rates as well as a striker.
Every goal, assist and Player of the Match
Our refs log every goal, assist, sin bin and Player of the Match on the night. The table, top scorers, assists and Player of the Match leaderboards update as soon as the ref confirms the score, with arrows showing who’s moving up.
A page for every game
Before kick-off, a preview with both teams’ form, league positions, previous meetings and top scorers. After full time, a review with the timeline of goals and assists by the minute, the lineups and the Player of the Match.
Season awards and the Hall of Fame
Follow the award race all season. When it finishes, the winners go on their player cards and into the 5aside.com Hall of Fame for good, alongside the champions, the all-time top scorers and the milestone clubs.

Proper leagues, properly run
All our leagues are affiliated with the London FA, with FA trained refs at every game. Competitive but friendly, with sin bins to keep it that way, and a fair fixture list that spreads kick-off times evenly over the season.
Less admin for captains
Players tell you if they’re in before every game, and you get a heads-up two days before if you’re short. Match fees are taken from your saved card 48 hours before each game, so there’s no chasing cash on the night. Your squad, payments and fixtures are all in one place.

Our league plays at Marylebone, 3 Penfold St, London NW1 6RX, on Tuesday evenings, with a waiting list for a Thursday league. It’s a short walk from Edgware Road, Marylebone and Paddington stations, with free street parking outside.
How much does it cost to join a 5 a side league?
£65 per team per game, about £13 each for a team of five. You pay a £130 deposit when you register, which covers your last 2 games, and the other games are taken from your saved card 48 hours before kick-off.
How long is a season?
10 matches over 10 weeks. Each league has 6 teams, and every team plays every other team twice.
When do the next seasons start?
Marylebone Tuesdays starts its next season on Tuesday 19 January 2027. Marylebone Thursdays has a waiting list and opens when enough teams join.
What time are the kick-offs?
19:00, 19:40 and 20:20. Kick-off times are spread evenly over the season, so no team gets stuck with the late slot every week.
Are your leagues FA affiliated?
Yes. All our leagues are affiliated with the London FA, and every game has an FA trained ref.
What stats do you record?
Goals, assists, Player of the Match, sin bins and results for every game. They build each player’s card, profile, football career and season awards, and the league tables and leaderboards update as soon as the ref confirms the score.
Can I join without a team?
Yes. Join our Players WhatsApp community and we’ll message you when a team needs a player or a ringer. You can also choose “Join as a player” on our contact page.
