Marylebone 5 a side: FAQs
Where exactly is the pitch?
King Solomon Academy, 3 Penfold St, London NW1 6RX, between Edgware Road and Lisson Grove. It’s a short walk from Edgware Road, Marylebone and Paddington stations.
How do match fees work?
£65 per team per game. When you register, you pay a £130 deposit, which covers your last 2 games. For the other games, the fee is taken from the captain’s saved card 48 hours before kick-off. Company teams can pay by invoice.
What if we can’t make a game?
Let us know as early as you can. A team that doesn’t turn up loses 10-0 and pays one extra match fee, and the team that turned up still pays its usual fee. Players can also say in, out or not sure before each game, and captains get a warning two days before if they’re short.
Can we bring a ringer?
Yes. Ringers can play when you’re short. Their goals count for your team, but not towards anyone’s player card.
How many players can we have?
Up to 10 in your squad, including the captain. Five play at a time.
Can we join in the middle of a season?
Sometimes. If a team leaves, a new team can take over their remaining games. Choose “As soon as possible” when you register your interest.
What happens when the league is full?
You can still register and join the waiting list. Nothing is charged until a place opens up, and we’ll ask you first.
