The team registration process
Step 1: Choose a league from our venues page.
Step 2: Select ‘Join a league with your team (register a team)‘ from the dropdown menu above.
Step 3: Fill in the short form and pay the deposit – The refundable deposit is returned to you in full, once your team leaves the league. More info on deposits here.
Step 4: The appropriate league manager will get back to you (usually within a few mins) confirming registration, match fees options and your first fixture.
Step 5: Enjoy the league – Expect top 3G pitches, FA affiliated refs, team & player stats (every Goal, POM and Assist!), pitch side scoreboard/timers, award ceremonies and competitive but friendly leagues!
How to join 5 a side teams looking for players
The best way to find a team/get a game is to join the Players WhatsApp Community.
Step 1: Message us with this link – Tell us the days of the week and the league venue that you prefer to play at.
Step 2: Get notified – When a team is looking for a player or ringer 5aside.com will message you a ‘Player(s) wanted/needed alert’ with details of the team, league, KO times and (if any) match fees that will be expected.
Top tip: There are sometimes teams looking for new players to join their team, but it’s more common for teams to be looking for players to play in a single match (as a ‘ringer’) – This is a great way of joining a team, assuming you get along with them them (it also helps to have a good game!)
